After accidentally leaving my starter in the oven as I was preheating it for dinner (oops!) I was afraid I’d killed it.
But I found the middle of the had hadn’t cooked yet and managed to save it and feed it (“half baked”) and as a comparison I fed the same amount of starter discard from the fridge (“restored backup”) and baked a loaf of each. Both came out great!
